Its all-wheel-drive vs rear-wheel drive.

This is one drag race people have been begging to see, and of course, carwow has managed to give their fans what they want.

The new Porsche 911 Turbo S is powered by a turbocharged 3,8-litre flat-six engine generating 478 kW and 800 N.m. its devastatingly quick, being able to achieve a 0 – 100 km/h sprint time in a claimed 2.7 seconds thanks to its all-wheel-drive system. Speaking of sprint times, Matt Watson recently used his own specialist timing gear and achieved a 0 – 60 mph ( 0 – 96 km/h) time of just 2.55 seconds.

The McLaren, on the other hand, is a powered by turbocharged 4,0-litre V8 producing 530 kW and 770 N.m. Though its rear-wheel drive, the 720 S can complete the 0 – 100 km/h sprint in 2.9 seconds.

The two supercars go head to head in a drag race, rolling race, and brake test. Enjoy.
