The facelift Audi Q5 is a gem. We recently drove the S line 45 TFSI Quattro finished in Glacier White and sporting optional 20-inch Audi Sport wheels. @thecarscene_ calls it the “Panda Spec”. This Q5 also sports a black styling package which blacks out the cars trim pieces to top off the whole sporty look of it.

Inside the Q5 is typical Audi which is premium and solid. The infotainment screen is crisp, easy to use and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also sports a digital dash which is intuitive and highly customizable. It has plenty of head room and legroom for 5 passengers. The optional panoramic sunroof is great as it brings a sense of airiness to the cabin.

Powering the Q5 45 TFSI is a turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine that produces 183kW and 370Nm of torque. It sends its power to all four corners via a 7-speed its s tronic transmission. The motor and transmission is a great combination, however, there is a slight delay when you plant your foot but its not a deal breaker. It has superior ride quality thanks to its 4-corner air suspension with electronic shock absorption control.
With an asking price from R 1 014 900 (at time of test), its a bit stiff. With that being said its a solid piece of kit. Our unit came in at over R1.28m with options.
