It’s hasn’t been too long since Bentley announced the new Bentayga and already they are ready to show us all the Speed version of the Bentayga.
The Bentley Bentayga Speed was the fastest SUV in the world when it first came out and I am happy to announce it is still the fastest SUV in the world. It still has the same power plant under the hood, a 6-litre V12 twin-turbo giving out 467kW and 900N.m. Acceleration from 0-100km/h is dealt with in 3.9 and a top speed of 306km/h.
The Engine though is now more efficient making use of cylinder deactivation, the engine control unit deactivates one complete bank of six cylinders as required.
The Bentayga Speed is based on the new Updated Bentayga but there are some subtle differences between the normal Bentayga and the Bentayga Speed. It has Dark-tint headlights, body-coloured side skirts, unique front and rear bumpers and a striking, elongated tailgate spoiler characterise the Speed’s performance credentials and Dark-tint radiator and bumper grilles.
Inside, Bentley themselves say that have found the balance of luxury and performance in an “unrivalled way”. You can get Alcantara on the seat cushions and backrest centre panels, gear lever, steering wheel, lower knee trim areas, upper pillar trim and headliner. A bigger and brighter, high-resolution 10.9-inch touchscreen, with an anti-reflection and anti-glare coating and much-improved touch functionality.
