As life progresses and the future gets closer, we see more automotive brands introducing electric cars that are less complicated and somewhat ordinary. Mercedes Benz has now introduced an electric compact SUV, which slightly resembles the widely recognised GLA.
The EQA at launch will start from the EQA250, which will have an output of 140kW and 375N.m with a range of 486km says Mercedes-Benz. The performance? Well, all that power will get the EQA from 0-100kph in 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 160kph.
On the inside, this EQA takes a lot from the GLA as the cabin looks very similar to its fuel-burning sibling. With the MBUX infotainment system offered with either two seven-inch screens or two 10.25-inch widescreen units. The only major difference will be the ‘Electric Intelligence’ that’s now incorporated into the navigation system.
