The Ford Figo Freestyle is built for adventure. Ford has taken their Figo and put some front, side, and rear skid plates for some underbody protection cause this is the kind of car that you want to take on a hike with you. Added to that the ride height of the Freestyle has been raised to 190mm, plus the roof racks come as standard. Very robust looking and tough little car this.
Inside you can find a 6.5-inch screen that has reverse camera capabilities, the SYNC®3 system also has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include keyless push-start button, automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, automatic headlamp activation and rain-sensing windscreen wipers.
The engine is a punchy naturally aspirated 1.5-litre engine that produces 91kW and 150Nm, which is pretty decent for a car this size. The price for all this? The Figo Freestyle starts from R226 700 for the Trend model and the Titanium is R247 500.
