Buyers in Mzansi can officially start ordering the new Audi S7 Sportback, the low slung and stunning four-door Coupe.
The Audi S7 sets itself apart from the normal A7 with some unique styling cues. At the front, you can expect dynamically styled front trim, wide sills and rear diffuser with four tailpipe trims. The S7 also gets some unique S trim which includes dark chrome and aluminium on the radiator grille lamellas, the front blade, the side air inlet, the exterior mirrors and the rear diffuser. The S7 Sportback rolls on 21” wheels in an S-specific wheel design as standard.
Inside you can expect classic Audi interior which is solid and pleasing to the eye. it comes with a host of standard features which includes the Audi virtual cockpit with 12.3-inch display, MMI navigation plus, four-zone automatic air conditioning, HD touch displays with haptic feedback, contour ambient lighting with up to 30 colours, Audi phone box and smartphone interface, Bang and Olufsen premium sound system with 3D sound and a panoramic glass sunroof.
Powering this low slung beaut is a 3.0 TFSI engine that produces 331kW and 600 Nm of torque. Power is sent through its Quattro all-wheel drive system via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Audi claims a 0 – 100 km/h sprint time of just 4.6 seconds. Drivers have an option of four driving modes: “comfort”, “auto”, “dynamic”, “efficiency” and “individual.” The S7 Sportback also makes use of MHEV technology that allows for better driving dynamics and improved fuel efficiency.
The Audi S7 Sportback is priced from R 1,500,500 and comes standard with the 5 year / 100 000km Audi Freeway plan.
