After more than a 2 year wait, the updated Audi R8 V10 Performance has finally made it to South Africa shores. As part of a pre-launch strategy, Audi will be having VIP customer deliveries of the Audi R8 V10. The official retail launch of the R8 will from the 1st of April 2021.
Powering the Audi R8 V10 Performance is a 449 kW/560 Nm naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed S tronic gearbox. Audi claims a 0 – 100 km/h sprint in just 3.2 seconds, whilst Spyder gets it done in 3.3 seconds. Top speed is 331 km/h and 329 km/h, respectively.
Being and updated model it features a wider and flatter and flatter singleframe grille, new wider front splitter, new oval exhaust tailpipes, and new three-part cover which is available in a plastic or carbon fibre. High-gloss black styling package comes as standard which means the front splitter, the sill trims and diffuser are all finished off in black accents, with an option to upgrade the exterior look to the gloss carbon RS exterior parts. Audi has also added two new metallic colours, Kemora grey and Ascari blue.
