The Porsche 911 Turbo S is one of the fastest cars on the quarter-mile, the fastest we’ve seen it go was 10.1 seconds on Carwow. Now the Moscow based tuning firm Goshaturbotech has broken the record for the fastest 992 Porsche 911 Turbo S with their stage 2 kit. Goshaturbotech hasn’t revealed any power figures for their kit.
The standard Turbo S produces 478 kW and 800 Nm of torque, with the GTT kit we estimate 500 kW + and most likely 900 Nm +. Goshaturbotech set the record achieving a 9.652 second quarter-mile at 229 km/h. The car was able to achieve the record on normal pump gas and street tyres. These cars are unbelievably quick and we’re bound to see tuners going into the very low 9’s with stickier tyres and higher octane fuel.
