Mitsubishi have launched their newly updated Pajero Sport. The Pajero name has been around for quite some time and has proven to conquer almost all kinds of terrain you throw at it but has never compromised on the comforts needed for everyday use. We have the details so let us see what’s new.
Mitsubishi has extended the Pajero Sport line-up with this range-topping model, the 2.4L MIVEC Turbodiesel 8-speed A/T 4×4 Exceed, joining the 2.4L MIVEC Turbodiesel 8-speed A/T 4×2 and 2.4L MIVEC Turbodiesel 8-speed A/T 4×4. The output of the 2.4L MIVEC Turbodiesel for all models is 133kW and 430N.m.
Now as you would expect the Pajero Sport is also designed to tackle the outdoors as well, the 4×4 version is paired with Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD-II system which delivers performance in the most challenging driving conditions and rugged terrain. The selectable Off-Road Modes maximises traction on Gravel, Mud/Snow, Sand or Rock setting and can be selected to suit surface conditions to optimise engine output, transmission settings and braking for superior traction control.
On the inside, it is filled with great features such as; Bluetooth with hands-free voice control, coupled to Mitsubishi’s advanced smartphone-link display audio (SDA) connected to a large 8” touch screen. The driver can adjust the multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel for rake and reach and has a full-colour digital instrument display at their aid. Automatic dual-zone air-conditioning throughout the 7-seater cabin, including rear passenger controls, and electric windows all round are other notable features in the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
