The S-class is always the first car to get Mercedes-Benz latest technology and sometimes designs that we could see in the future in their lower range cars. The outside of the S-class looks more up-to-date with the current models but with great grandeur, it all looks very new.

The biggest change, however, is in the inside, this is where we see the future of Mercedes-Benz, we see a large touchscreen on the Centre of the cabin very similar to Tesla cars and you can get up 5 screens in the car that can control a host of functions.
The new S-class will start with the S350 diesel then S400 diesel, S450 and finally S500, both being petrol-powered. All models will be based on a 3.0-litre inline-6 engines (M256 for the petrol and the OM656 for the diesel) but will get some help from a mild hybrid boost the. There will be a S580 as well which will be powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, this should add some excitement to all the luxury.

Being an S-Class there are plenty driver aids and safety features in the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class making life even easier for the driver. If you opt for Driving Assistance Package, features such as Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Steering Assist, Active Parking Assist are part of that package, while a Parking Package with a 360-degree camera will be optional.
