Audi might have just created the ultimate GT car: the new A7 not only looks super sleek and sculpted, but it also has a new hybrid engine to make driving as effortless as it looks.
The Audi A7 boasts a powerful 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine mated with a 48V hybrid system to give 270kW and 500Nm, sent to all four wheels. Performance is very decent with the 0-100 time sitting at 5.3 seconds and tops out at 250kph. We know though, that the people that will buy this Audi A7 will be people that don’t care about performance figures. It must be powerful enough to pass the peasants on the highway but supple as a whole, so what they did was add something called the “Electronic Chassis Program” or ECP which is said to be the central controller of the chassis. With that, they updated the air suspension making it more agile, nimble and comfortable. To make driving a lot easier, the A7 includes adaptive cruise control, efficiency assist, swerve assist and turn assist, night vision assistant and many other features.

The Audi A7 55 TSFI Sportback Quattro S Tronic is priced at R 1 250 000 and is currently available in South Africa.
