If you’re planning on getting the new LCI BMW M5 or 5 series LCI but you feel it doesn’t have enough ‘M’ to suit your taste buds, fear not as BMW have released a whole slew of new M Performance parts that you can add to your new BMW M5 LCI and 5 series LCI.
Most of the parts available are made from Carbon Fibre as you would expect, like the Carbon Fibre mirror caps and M Performance spoiler which are not only there for a sporty look but serve to better the aerodynamics and add lightness to the M5 or 5 series.
With regards to to the more important upgrades, BMW have enhanced the suspension further with the M5 and you can now get the M performance sports suspension that now allows the car to be lowered between 5 and 20mm, which BMW say gives the car “a lower centre of gravity, less roll tendency and higher cornering speeds”. It wouldn’t be complete if they didn’t have the M Performance exhaust on option but this exhaust is specifically for diesel 5 series and I really would want to hear a diesel 5 series with these exhaust. There also is now a lot more M Performance wheel options to choose from.
Inside you can basically cover the cabin with the letter ‘M’ as much as you want with M Performance a Carbon floor mat, steering wheel, paddle shifts and so much more on the M5 you can get exclusive bits like the steering wheel Pro and gear selector carbon trim.
