The Audi A3 sedan has become a very poplar car with people who want a functional, fun sized, family car with a German badge on the front, over the years though it did start to look a little boring.
However I think the New Audi A3 sedan is definitely about to turn a lot more heads with it’s sleek design. It also has grown in length by 40mm, width by 20mm and height by 10mm, which also makes the car more spacious on the inside.
South Africa is yet to find out what engines will be coming, but on launch in Europe will be a 1.5 liter TFSI turbopetrol and a 2-liter TDI turbodiesel engine . The petrol engine is actually not too under powered even with it being a 1.5-liter, it still pumps out a cool 110kW.
The interior is where the A3 really gets an overhaul, the cabin looks like the future featuring some Lamborghini styled air vents. It also has technology to match the interior, like a new high resolution navigation system that can show Google Earth images. I bet some of you will say that as a pick-up line.
As I said we are yet to find out what South Africa will be getting or even when it is coming here but it will be on sale in Europe mid year.
